The 2025-26 Premier League season will kick off with Liverpool defending their title at home against Bournemouth on August 15. Manchester United will also host Arsenal in an exciting opening weekend. Liverpool will start their campaign at Anfield, and they are likely to feature their £116m signing, Florian Wirtz.

The following day, Tottenham will play newly-promoted Burnley. Burnley faces a tough schedule early in the season with matches against Manchester United, Manchester City, and Liverpool by early October. Leeds and Sunderland, the other two promoted teams, will also begin their campaigns with home games. Leeds will take on Everton in the first Monday night game of the season, while Sunderland will host West Ham.

Other notable opening fixtures include Aston Villa vs. Newcastle, Manchester City traveling to Wolves, and Chelsea facing Crystal Palace. Everton’s new stadium will host its first Premier League match against Brighton, and Liverpool will play Arsenal at home in one of the early exciting fixtures.

As the season progresses, key games include the first Merseyside derby at Anfield on September 20, followed by the Manchester derby at Old Trafford on January 17. Liverpool will face Manchester City on February 7. Everton fans will wait until April 18 for their home Merseyside derby. The season will conclude on Sunday, May 24, with many hoping for a more exciting finish than last year.
