Post by : Meena Hassan

The anticipation surrounding SS Rajamouli's forthcoming film Varanasi has heightened following the teaser's launch. Following this, the lead actors—Priyanka Chopra, Mahesh Babu, and Prithviraj Sukumaran—embarked on a promotional tour with international media. Recently, Priyanka shared vibrant snapshots from the media tour that garnered significant online interest.

In the images, Priyanka captures a joyful selfie alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj. Another photograph features the trio posing for the cameras. Dressed in a chic black sheer top paired with a matching skirt, Priyanka expressed that working alongside esteemed actors from the Telugu and Malayalam industries in a Rajamouli film is a remarkable honor.

She further noted that promoting the film nearly a year before its release has been thrilling, and the warm reception from international media has uplifted the team's spirits, hoping to satisfy audience expectations.

At the teaser launch event in Hyderabad, Priyanka remarked that though Prithviraj portrays a menacing villain in the film, his real-life persona is quite the opposite—kind and modest. She extended her gratitude to Mahesh Babu and her family for assisting her in exploring Hyderabad and ensuring her comfort during the filming.

Varanasi stars Mahesh Babu as Rudhra, Priyanka as Mandakini, and Prithviraj as Kumbha. While the teaser doesn't reveal the entire plot, many fans speculate it involves time travel. Rajamouli also disclosed that Mahesh Babu appears as Lord Rama in a notable sequence he described as one of his most unforgettable scenes.

Scheduled for a theatrical release during Sankranthi 2027, Varanasi has already garnered considerable attention.
