On Friday, Qatar’s official Hajj delegation left for Saudi Arabia as part of the ongoing preparations for this year's Hajj pilgrimage, according to the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
The announcement highlighted that earlier support teams had already reached the Kingdom to finalize ground preparations, ensuring all necessary arrangements for Qatari pilgrims.
Ali bin Sultan Al Misifri, the Director of the Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs, revealed that the mission will operate from its base in Makkah's Al Naseem district. From this location, the officials will coordinate services with both the Qatari Hajj campaigns and the Saudi authorities to promote an orderly pilgrimage experience.
During the season, several specialized teams will collaborate, focusing on religious guidance, medical aid, logistics, inspections, communications, and technical support to assist pilgrims on their journey.
The mission aims to facilitate a safe, comfortable, and smooth pilgrimage for Qatari citizens, aligning with the ministry's strategy for 2025–2030, designed to enhance Hajj and Umrah services and improve the overall experience for residents and citizens from Qatar.
