Qatar Debuts F1 Grand Prix Promo Film ‘Where Hearts Are Racing’

The Lusail International Circuit (LIC) launched the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix TV promo film on Tuesday at Souq Waqif’s Eastern Square. This highlighted the new #QatarGP 360° Experience, an innovative activation that immerses audiences in the Formula 1 realm through a cinematic experience.

The gathering featured the exclusive premiere of the promotional film titled “Where Hearts Are Racing.” Attendees, including guests, officials, and media, were excited to witness the unique fusion of culture, heritage, and contemporary sport depicted in the film.

Guests were offered a captivating journey with the #QatarGP 360° Experience. This engaging installation placed them at the heart of the action, allowing them to virtually sense the speed, sound, and adrenaline of Formula 1.

The setup employs panoramic visuals and surround audio to recreate the sensation of being trackside at Lusail, presenting fans with a thrilling way to connect with the sport before the Qatar Grand Prix 2025. Open to the public at Souq Waqif, this experience will be available daily until November 30.

The highlight was the unveiling of “Where Hearts Are Racing,” a cinematic homage that explores the deep human connection to speed. The film artfully intertwines Qatari heritage with the spirit of modern motoring, illustrating speed as a universal force that bonds different generations and cultures.

The narrative connects Qatar’s traditional sports such as camel racing, falconry, and horse riding with the contemporary world of Formula 1. Through its poetic storytelling and visually captivating scenes, the film showcases Qatar’s journey from its rich past to its role as a global innovation hub in motorsport.

“Where Hearts Are Racing” depicts speed not only as rivalry but as an embodiment of human ambition and creativity. It celebrates how Qatar’s legacy of endurance continues to resonate in today’s quest for excellence in racing.

By focusing on both rich heritage and advanced technology, the film captures Qatar’s evolving identity, balancing respect for its past with a confident stride toward the future. This powerful message appeals to the global Formula 1 audience, illustrating how racing excitement conquers boundaries and customs.

Fatima Al Qaedi, Marketing Manager at Lusail International Circuit, commended the film for authentically representing Qatar’s love for speed.

“This promotional film beautifully reflects Qatar’s passion for racing and speed through a contemporary cinematic approach,” she shared. “It emphasizes the profound connection between Arab heritage and modernity, showcasing how speed has evolved from local culture to a universal language of ambition, determination, and excellence.”

She further noted that this film serves as a key milestone in LIC’s preparations for the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix 2025, reinforcing Qatar’s dedication to providing unparalleled experiences for motorsport fans.

The Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix 2025 is set to take place at the Lusail International Circuit from November 28 to 30, expected to attract numerous fans and international visitors, highlighting Qatar’s rising profile as a major global sporting destination.

With rising anticipation, initiatives like the #QatarGP 360° Experience and the promo film ‘Where Hearts Are Racing’ embody the nation’s vision to marry cultural pride with cutting-edge entertainment, bringing the thrill of Formula 1 closer to the people.
