Post by : Meena Hassan

Since its premiere, Huma Qureshi’s Maharani Season 4 has garnered widespread acclaim from audiences and critics alike. This political drama is celebrated for its captivating plot and remarkable performances, with Huma once again excelling as Rani Bharti.

In the current season, Rani resigns as Bihar’s Chief Minister to confront the Prime Minister, portrayed by Vipin Sharma. The narrative evolves after she entrusts her position to her daughter, Roshni, delving into themes of ambition, treachery, and national political dynamics.

Actor Rajkummar Rao is among those recognizing Huma’s outstanding performance. On November 9, he shared the trailer for Maharani 4 on Instagram, praising his close friend with the words,

“Maharani is already performing exceptionally well, and Delhi Crime is about to drop. @iamhumaq, you’re absolutely acing it with your impressive roles. So proud of you, Dost. Keep on shining.”

In response, Huma reshared Rajkummar’s post, captioned,

“Thank you, Raju... your words mean the world coming from such a talented friend,”

which illustrates their mutual respect and enduring friendship.

As Maharani 4 continues to gain popularity, Huma is preparing for her next significant role in Delhi Crime Season 3, set to debut on Netflix on November 13, 2025. This upcoming season presents her in a more sinister character as “Badi Didi,” a leader of a human trafficking ring. The plot initiates with the finding of an abandoned child, propelling DCP Vartika Chaturvedi (Shefali Shah) and her team into a gripping, cross-state inquiry.

Joining returning stars Rasika Dugal and Rajesh Tailang, Delhi Crime 3 aims to address serious issues of child exploitation, corruption, and the quest for justice in today’s society.
