Actress Rashmika Mandanna has shared her heartfelt appreciation for her rumored fiancé, Vijay Deverakonda, after he publicly supported her latest project, The Girlfriend.
On her X profile, Rashmika remarked, “It is an impactful journey. It holds significant meaning. It will take some time to absorb - So well articulated! Thank you. It's a SLOW BURN that LINGERS.”
She noted that Vijay has been involved with the film since its conception and expressed her desire for him to feel proud of her performance.
Previously, Vijay shared the trailer for The Girlfriend, commending the film and recognizing the hard work of the cast and crew. In his message, he stated:

The chemistry between Rashmika and Vijay is further highlighted by reports suggesting the pair recently became engaged. Sources reveal that the engagement ceremony was a low-key event attended by close family on October 3 at Vijay Deverakonda’s home in Hyderabad. Although there has been no official announcement from the couple, rumors indicate their wedding might take place in February 2026.
As for her career, The Girlfriend, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Dheekshith Shetty, premiered in theaters on November 7. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the Telugu film delves into the intricacies of a romantic relationship. The plot revolves around a girlfriend who desires a "short break," only for Dheekshith’s character to unveil volatile and concerning behavior, creating a tense emotional atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Rashmika is also preparing for another significant role in Cocktail 2, where she takes on the lead.
