Saudi Defense Minister Holds Talks With US Advisor in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, met with US Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs, Massad Boulos, in Riyadh on Tuesday. The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the long-standing and friendly relationship between Saudi Arabia and the United States. Both sides highlighted the importance of continued cooperation in political, security, and diplomatic areas.

During the discussions, the two officials reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to further enhance coordination between the two countries. They stressed the value of open dialogue and regular meetings to address shared challenges and support mutual interests. The talks reflected the close partnership between Riyadh and Washington, which has developed over many years through cooperation in various regional and global matters.

The meeting also focused on regional developments, including the current situation in the Middle East and surrounding regions. Prince Khalid bin Salman and Massad Boulos exchanged views on ongoing efforts to promote peace, stability, and security. They discussed initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and supporting peaceful solutions to conflicts, underlining the importance of collective international efforts.

Several topics of mutual interest were also discussed, covering diplomatic coordination and future cooperation. The presence of Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah added importance to the meeting and showed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to strong diplomatic engagement with the United States.

Senior officials from both sides attended the meeting, reflecting the high level of cooperation between the two nations. The discussions reaffirmed the shared goal of supporting peace, stability, and constructive dialogue in the region and beyond.
