At the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh in 2025, the Saudi Paralympic athletics team showcased impressive talent and determination. Hani Al-Nakhli shone brightly, clinching the gold medal in the discus throw event with a remarkable throw of 30.92 meters, achieving 950 points. The silver medal was awarded to a Jordanian athlete with 893 points, while an Iraqi athlete took home the bronze with a score of 881 points. Al-Nakhli's exceptional performance underscored his dedication and prowess, significantly boosting Saudi Arabia's athletics medal tally.

In addition to Al-Nakhli's triumph, Hussain Al-Hizam emerged victorious in the pole vault, clearing an impressive height of 5.65 meters. His stellar technique secured him the top position in this challenging discipline. Abdulaziz Al-Atafi also performed admirably, finishing the 100-meter race in 10.32 seconds and earning a silver medal, while an Omani athlete claimed gold and a Cameroonian took bronze in the same event.

Saudi athletes demonstrated a wealth of talent across multiple events. Raed Aljadani qualified for the finals in the 1500-meter race, finishing fifth with a time of 4:02.58 minutes. His successful qualification highlighted his endurance and tactical skills, promising a bright future in Saudi athletics as he gears up for more international challenges.

The athletes' achievements at the Riyadh Islamic Solidarity Games exemplify Saudi Arabia's strengthening position in Paralympic and athletics disciplines. As they gain invaluable experience and confidence, these athletes showcase their dedication, rigorous training, and competitive spirit against global competitors.

In conclusion, the day's victories—Hani Al-Nakhli's gold in discus and Hussain Al-Hizam's gold in pole vault, alongside Abdulaziz Al-Atafi's silver—underscore a successful chapter for Saudi athletics. These accomplishments not only contribute to the Kingdom’s medal count but also inspire the youth to aspire towards excellence in sports. Such performances illustrate the effectiveness of Saudi Arabia's training initiatives and the supportive environment for both Paralympic and national athletes.

With a strong showing at international events like the Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games, Saudi Arabian athletes continue to set benchmarks, reflecting their nation's commitment to fostering sports and facilitating opportunities for athletes to excel on the world stage.
