Saviynt, a renowned name in AI-driven identity security, has revealed its new regional headquarters in Dubai, accompanying a strategic partnership with StarLink, a leading cybersecurity distributor in the Middle East and Africa. This initiative signifies a major step in the firm's dedication to bolstering the area's developing cloud and AI landscapes, where identity governance has emerged as a crucial concern.
Investment in cloud technologies is surging across the Middle East, propelled by national digital transformation efforts, innovations in regulated industries, and the broad adoption of AI-capabilities. Consequently, millions of new digital identities—including employees, contractors, applications, workloads, and connected devices—have become active. This upsurge intensifies the challenge for security leaders to ensure secure and continuous access.
“Organizations throughout the Middle East are integrating thousands of identities each month; however, many continue to utilize manual access reviews and disparate tools,” remarked Todd Rotger, Chief Revenue Officer at Saviynt. “This gap is where attackers thrive. Our regional investment aims to assist clients in bridging that gap and retaining control before risk escalates into a breach.”
As part of its expansion, Saviynt will locally host its Identity Cloud platform in the UAE. This decision ensures compliance with local data residency and sovereignty regulations, especially for heavily regulated sectors like banking, energy, government, and telecommunications. The new Dubai center will serve as a hub of excellence, focusing on customer success, delivering solutions, and fostering partnerships to enable quicker realization of value.
“As identity management becomes pivotal to digital trust, organizations require comprehensive control over each identity within their networks,” stated Mahmoud Nimer, President of StarLink. “Saviynt provides this integrated approach without hindering transformation. We are thrilled to offer their innovation to a wider customer base across the region.”
This expansion further enhances Saviynt's global footprint, supplementing its ongoing growth in EMEA and APJ. Recent developments include new offices and leadership teams in locations such as Singapore, London, Amsterdam, Germany, Iberia, and Poland, alongside continuous improvements to its innovation center in India. Saviynt has also recently been recognized as a 2024 Gartner® Peer Insights™ Customers’ Choice for Identity Governance and Administration for the fourth consecutive year, reaffirming its leadership and customer-centric innovation.
