Shatrughan Sinha Checks on Hema Malini as Dharmendra Recovers

Shortly after veteran actor Dharmendra was released from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, his close friend and fellow actor Shatrughan Sinha made a visit to Hema Malini’s home to see how the family is doing. The gathering was filled with warmth as they navigate Dharmendra's recovery at home.

On Monday, Shatrughan Sinha posted two pictures on his X account, featuring himself with Poonam Sinha and Hema Malini. He captioned the images:

"Accompanied by my ‘bestest half’ @PoonamSinha, I went to meet, greet & send blessings to our dear family friend, an incredible human, star/actress of immense talent, and respected Parliamentarian @dreamgirlhema. We inquired about our elder brother’s and family’s welfare as well."

Dharmendra's Recovery at Home

Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital early on November 12, after receiving care since October 31. His doctor confirmed he would continue to heal at home with family support.

"Dharmendraji left the hospital around 7:30 a.m., and the family has opted for home care during his recovery," stated the doctor.

The family also rolled out an official statement about his discharge, requesting privacy:

"Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged and will continue his recovery at home. We appreciate everyone’s love and good wishes but ask the media and public to respect our privacy during this time."

A Lasting Friendship in Cinema

Dharmendra, celebrated as one of Indian cinema’s greats, is known for iconic films including Sholay and Dream Girl. His latest appearance was in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.

He is set to star in Ikkis, featuring Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, with a release date of December 25.
