UAE Joins Sharm El-Sheikh Summit for Gaza Peace Talks

On behalf of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, represented the UAE at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit. The event took place in Egypt’s Sharm El-Sheikh and was co-chaired by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt and President Donald Trump of the United States of America.

Aim of the Peace Summit

The main goal of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit was to strengthen international efforts to reach and maintain a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. When Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed arrived at the summit venue, he was warmly received by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Sheikh Mansour also exchanged greetings with U.S. President Donald Trump upon his arrival at the venue.
