His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of the 2024–2025 batch of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Program. This programme is run by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), which is part of The Executive Office of His Highness.
During the ceremony, His Highness stressed that building future leaders is a top national priority. He said the UAE is focused on preparing skilled leaders in all fields to help the country grow and stay ahead globally.
Sheikh Mohammed said, “I’m proud of this new group of dedicated national leaders from both government and private sectors. They represent the ambition, responsibility, and drive that we see in our people every day. Hundreds have graduated from this programme, and we will continue to support bold and creative leadership.”
What the Program Offers
The programme helps prepare Emiratis to take on leadership roles and manage major projects in both public and private organisations. It is based on Sheikh Mohammed’s vision of combining deep thinking with practical experience and international knowledge.
This year’s programme included mentoring from 60 Emirati and international experts, in partnership with top universities around the world. One of the highlights was an international trip to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK, where participants were trained in discipline, decision-making, and leadership in the field.
Participants also worked on six real-world projects focused on improving health, education, the economy, quality of life, tourism, infrastructure, and community services in the UAE.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Programme, launched in 2017, aims to create innovative and forward-thinking leaders who can make a positive impact. Since 2003, MBRCLD has helped train adaptable leaders who are ready to face future challenges and lead change.
