Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra Toast 16 Years Together

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra Toast 16 Years Together

Post by : Meena Hassan

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are commemorating their 16th wedding anniversary with a delightful and amusing video posted on Instagram. In the clip, Raj playfully suggests they go out to celebrate, which instantly uplifts Shilpa's spirits. As they venture outside, he twirls her, leaving her in delightful surprise before they share a loving embrace. Shilpa captioned the moment, "Happy Sweet 16 to US... still spinning in love, still choosing each other. Here's to always and forever. Happy Anniversary."

In addition to their celebrations, Raj Kundra has spoken candidly about nurturing their relationship while managing their responsibilities as parents. He stressed the importance of a strong partnership, especially as children grow older and eventually leave home. He shared that he and Shilpa dedicate Friday evenings for date nights, a commitment to keep their relationship front and center. Raj noted, "It’s essential that if you are in love, your children will grow up one day, get married, and leave. By that time, you’ll recognize that in focusing on them, the bond between you two may have weakened. Prioritizing your partner is crucial."

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's love story began with their engagement in February 2009, culminating in their marriage later that same year in November. The couple is proud parents to two children: a son born in May 2012 and a daughter via surrogacy in February 2020. Over the years, they have shared numerous glimpses of their joyful partnership, with this anniversary video exemplifying their playful and lasting love.
