Shruti Haasan delighted fans on Instagram on Friday by celebrating her father, the iconic actor Kamal Haasan, as he turned 71. She shared an endearing video montage filled with joyful snippets of their memorable times together.

Heartfelt Tribute to Her Beloved Dad

Shruti expressed, “Happy birthday to my favourite human who also happens to be my incredible appa :)”, showcasing her appreciation for his wisdom, humor, and nurturing character.

She continued, “Thank you for being the most adorable daddy who still buys me my favourite cookies and snacks, the best person to sing with and discuss films, and for always making me laugh. My wish for you is to achieve all of your dreams … your magic, your sparkle, and your beautiful heart are truly unmatched … happy, happy birthday to you.”

The post was accompanied by the timeless Beatles song “Let It Be”, adding a poignant touch to the occasion.

Previously, Shruti had shared a fun behind-the-scenes clip as she prepared, playfully urging her father, “Hi Appa, are you still sleeping?” She noted, “I spend nearly all my days with my girls, hustling and shaping our lives while cherishing every moment of this wild journey called life and career.”
