This week, Sonam Kapoor embraced a tranquil pastel color scheme at a wedding in Dubai, unveiling two stunning looks that perfectly embodied her fashion prowess. Her post, captioned “Shaadi ready… two days and two looks I loved!”, quickly drew admiration for its exquisite craftsmanship and sophisticated styling.
Her first outfit combined heritage with subtle elegance, showcasing a Tarun Tahiliani × de Gournay embroidered creation. The soft blush kurta and dupatta, adorned with floral patterns, were styled with meticulous care by Rhea Kapoor and Manish Melwani. Completing the ensemble were pearl earrings, a statement choker, a vintage handbag by Meera Mahadevia, as well as lightly applied makeup with a polished finish, flowing hair styled in a sleek low bun by Komal, and charming Fizzy Goblet juttis.
Later, she appeared alongside her husband, Anand Ahuja, who complemented her look in a classic black bandh gala and slim white trousers, ensuring the focus remained on her pastel attire.
On the second day, Sonam opted for an organza saree in mint-blue by Anamika Khanna, featuring lace borders and an intricately embroidered cape-style blouse. The soft hue lent an ethereal quality to her appearance, and she balanced the muted tones with a bold deep-red lipstick for a striking contrast.
Her fashion choices reflect key wedding trends for 2025—incorporating pastel shades, luxurious embroidery, minimalist aesthetics, and standout jewelry. With these two looks, Sonam further solidifies her status as a leading fashion icon in Bollywood, effortlessly merging tradition with a modern twist.
