On April 5, Pham Minh Chinh, the Prime Minister of Vietnam, met with Chinese Ambassador He Wei in Hanoi to discuss ways to fortify bilateral relations between the two nations. The discussion was held at the Government headquarters and centered on expanding cooperation across various sectors.
Both leaders noted the consistent advancement of Vietnam-China relations, showcasing increased political trust, rising trade, and investment, as well as enriched exchanges among citizens. They shared greetings from senior officials on both sides, highlighting ongoing high-level diplomatic interactions.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of maintaining amicable relations and advocated for balanced and sustainable growth in trade. He proposed enhancing collaboration in infrastructure, especially in railway connectivity, as well as in energy, finance, tourism, and cultural exchanges.
In response, Ambassador He Wei acknowledged Vietnam's significant development progress and reiterated China's dedication to deepening ties. The two partners agreed to work towards bolstering their comprehensive strategic partnership for mutual advancement in the years ahead.
