Filmmaker Sundar C has confirmed his withdrawal from the eagerly awaited project, Thalaivar 173, produced under Kamal Haasan's banner. Earlier that day, Sundar C's wife, actress Khushbu Sundar, shared the statement on Instagram, though she later removed the post.
In addressing fans, Sundar C noted, “Due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, I've had to make the tough decision to step back from the prestigious project, #Thalaivar173.”
The filmmaker expressed his reflections on his long-standing relationship with the stars, stating, “In life, there are moments when we have to walk a different path than we envisioned. Sundar C also offered his apologies to both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan for his decision, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity. “While I step away from this chance, I will always seek their guidance.
