Sunita Discovered Govinda's Hospital Stay Through Interview

Post by : Meena Hassan

Two days following actor Govinda's release from CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai, his wife Sunita Ahuja disclosed that she found out about his hospitalisation through an online interview. In her recent vlog, Sunita, who was away at the time, expressed her surprise as she was not notified of the late-night medical incident.

Govinda Collapses at Home, Rushes to Hospital

Earlier this week, Govinda fainted at home around 1 a.m. and was promptly taken to the hospital. After undergoing numerous tests and careful monitoring, he was discharged that very afternoon. Upon leaving, Govinda reassured the media that he was “doing completely fine.”

Sunita commented on her husband’s health while discussing fan concerns, stating,
“Govinda is in perfect health. He just overdid his workout in preparation for his upcoming film Duniyadaari when he fainted.”

‘He Pushed Himself Too Hard,’ Says Sunita

She mentioned that she had only recently watched her husband’s interview post-arrival and learned that his fatigue stemmed from excessive exercise.
“He’s doing well now. Please don’t worry,” she reassured fans.

After his discharge, Govinda attributed the fainting incident to “fatigue,” urging people to incorporate yoga and pranayam into their routines.

Sunita Discusses Govinda’s Public Apology Regarding the “Chor” Statement

Sunita Ahuja has recently garnered attention for her candid remarks about her marriage with Govinda and their dynamics. In the same vlog, she addressed the controversy over a podcast where she shared a personal story and used the word “chor.”

In light of the ensuing criticism, Govinda publicly apologised to one of their family priests, which Sunita found inappropriate.

She clarified:
“I didn’t appreciate how Govinda apologised with folded hands. I never named anyone. I was merely sharing a personal tale. If anyone was upset, I sincerely apologise, as do I to all priests. But Govinda didn’t have to apologise publicly or name anyone.”

Sunita expressed her displeasure, mentioning that Govinda has numerous priests and that it pained her that he felt the need to apologise due to her words.

A Private Marriage for Many Years

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja tied the knot in March 1987, keeping their marriage under wraps to safeguard his growing fame. Their daughter Tina was born in 1988, leading to their relationship becoming public. The couple later welcomed their son Yashvardhan in 1997.
