Sunny Deol Expresses Anger Towards Paparazzi at His Residence

Post by : Meena Hassan

Actor Sunny Deol recently expressed his frustration at photographers loitering outside his Mumbai home, attempting to capture images and videos during a challenging time for the Deol family. His father, the well-known actor Dharmendra, is currently unwell and receiving treatment at home.

On Wednesday, Sunny's team announced that Dharmendra had returned home from the hospital, where his treatment would continue. They urged the public to respect the family's privacy and refrain from disturbances.

Despite this, many photographers remained outside the Deol residence the following day. Upon witnessing this, Sunny stepped out to admonish them for their intrusive behavior, expressing disappointment by folding his hands and urging them to show some decency.

A video circulating on social media shows Sunny remarking, “You ought to feel ashamed. You, too, have parents and children. Yet, you act foolishly by recording us. Don’t you have any sense of shame?”

Sunny's concern stemmed from the fact that photographers had been tailing his family for several days, capturing even minor events like food deliveries.

Earlier this week, misinformation had circulated online claiming that Dharmendra had passed away; however, the family swiftly dispelled these rumors. His wife Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol confirmed that Dharmendra is alive and gradually recovering.

Shortly after, Sunny issued a statement expressing gratitude to fans for their love and support. He said: “My father Dharmendra has been released from the hospital and will be recuperating at home. We kindly ask everyone not to spread false rumors and to honor our privacy. Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes.”

This incident has sparked a broader conversation regarding the need for privacy among celebrities during personal crises, as many believe that paparazzi should exhibit more respect in such circumstances.
