Key plays included a strong start from Goodwin, who notched eight of the Suns’ initial 29 points, countering San Antonio's advances effectively. Luke Kornet, Champagnie, and Jeremy Sochan executed impressive dunks early on, putting the Spurs ahead 45-34. Vassell’s three-pointer stretched their lead to 62-52, but the Suns swiftly countered with an 11-0 run to take control.
