Tanya Mittal Under Fire for Discontent Over Follower Count

Post by : Dr. Amrinder Singh

The recent episode of Bigg Boss 19 stirred up considerable drama, captivating fans on social media. A task this week gauged contestants' social media success, sparking some heated debates.

Contestants were presented with a choice during the ration task: they could either increase their ration by 10% or check their Instagram follower count. While Ashnoor Kaur, Malti Chahar, and Pranit More opted for more ration, Farrhana Bhatt, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, and Kunickaa Sadanand chose to monitor their follower growth.

Farrhana celebrated a huge leap from 40,000 to 1 million followers, and Amaal rejoiced to have reached 5.2 million. In contrast, Tanya Mittal expressed disappointment despite gaining followers from 2.5 million to 3.7 million, sharing with Farrhana and Kunickaa that she had aimed for 5 million.

This reaction did not sit well with fans online, many labeling her as “ungrateful” for failing to recognize her substantial growth. Some comments included:

  • “A spiritual person should be happy with gain or loss.”

  • “Time to unfollow her.”

  • “The follower factory slowed down, so she is upset.”

Additionally, the episode featured more chaos during the captaincy task. Bigg Boss presented Gaurav with a pivotal choice: to become captain himself, jeopardizing the safety and ration of his housemates, or allow Shehbaz to take over and ensure everyone's safety and full rations. Gaurav opted for the former, leading to discontent from Amaal and Shehbaz, who deemed Bigg Boss “unfair.”

The promo teases further confrontations, showcasing Amaal and Farrhana's tensions with Gaurav, while Shehbaz is seen apologizing to Bigg Boss.
