Teaser for Devil Wears Prada 2 Features Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway

The highly awaited teaser for The Devil Wears Prada 2 has finally dropped, capturing the excitement of fans everywhere. Recently released online, the brief video previews the much-anticipated sequel.

Celebrating her own 43rd birthday, Anne Hathaway posted the teaser on Instagram, captioning it with, "It’s everyone’s birthday. #43 #DWP2." The feedback from fans has been overwhelmingly positive, with one declaring, "So gorgeous! I’m excited for this... it will be a massive hit!" Another added, "Can’t wait for the reunion of Miranda and Andy!"

Social media reactions praised the nuanced character evolution shown in the teaser, particularly how Miranda’s thoughtful gesture exhibited her growth. Fans also marveled at Meryl Streep’s incredible talent, drawing comparisons to her diverse range of roles over the years.

Featuring the beloved ensemble cast including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026. Directed by David Frankel, who also directed the original film in 2006, the sequel brings back many familiar faces. The cast is further enhanced with talents such as Lady Gaga, Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, and Simone Ashley. Produced by Wendy Finerman and Karen Rosenfelt, the screenplay is penned by Aline Brosh McKenna.
