Travis Scott Lights Up Mumbai with Unforgettable Circus Maximus Show

Post by : Meena Hassan

When it comes to concerts, few compare to the electrifying atmosphere created on November 19 at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse. Travis Scott brought his CIRCUS MAXIMUS World Tour to life following performances in Delhi, offering a night of pure sonic bliss the city will remember for years.

As he took to the stage, the audience reacted with a thunderous cheer that filled the air. The venue transformed into a pulsating mosh pit, where tens of thousands joined in chorus, singing along while swaying to the beats.

Opening the evening, Canadian artist NAV energised the crowd with hits like Lemonade, but the atmosphere surged to new heights with Travis’s entrance. His performance was not only loud but also intensely immersive, capturing the essence of live music.

Fans were treated to beloved tracks like Sicko Mode, Goosebumps, and the highly requested FE!N, which he performed multiple times due to audience enthusiasm. Though the concert lasted about an hour, every moment was a collective celebration, with everyone singing along to each lyric.

At one juncture, Travis encouraged Mumbai to “rep for the whole of India,” sparking a wave of lit phones across the venue. An unexpected highlight was when he invited four fans to join him on stage during his hits Smoke Some, Drink Some, Pop One and Night Crawler, resulting in joyful chaos and shared moments, including a sign reading “Stormi for President 2040.”

Originally, Mumbai wasn’t part of the tour itinerary, but the insatiable demand led to its inclusion. Given the electric response from the audience, it was clear this addition was a wise choice. The concert not only marked the end of Travis Scott’s tour in India but also raised the bar for future live music events.

As the final notes faded, attendees were left with hoarse voices, drenched shirts, and an undeniable sensation that something monumental had just transpired in Mumbai.
