His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, took part in the 49th emergency meeting of the GCC Ministerial Council, held in Qatar.

The meeting included foreign ministers from all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the GCC Secretary-General, Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi. They gathered to talk about the recent Iranian attack on Qatar.

During the meeting, Gulf countries showed strong unity and support for Qatar, stressing that Qatar’s security is deeply connected to the overall security of the Gulf region.
