The UAE Balloon Team is taking part in the third edition of the International Ballooning Festival "Air Brotherhood," which is being held in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The event began yesterday and will run till July 1. The festival features teams from multiple nations, including Bulgaria, Slovakia, Belarus, Armenia, and several Russian teams.
Captain Pilot Abdulaziz Nasser Al Mansoori, the head of the UAE Balloon Team, emphasized that their participation extends beyond sports. He emphasized that it is an opportunity to promote Emirati culture while also strengthening the UAE's good connection with Russia. The team has been providing free aerial displays, which have been attended by Russian leaders and journalists.
Al Mansoori also praised the support and attention their participation has received from Russian leadership. He mentioned the active participation of the Russian public in the events, particularly the nightly shows presented throughout the festival, which received great interaction and enthusiasm.
The UAE Balloon Team's involvement in Russia is part of their second overseas tour, which began in Bristol, UK. The team's objective is to convey the rich Arab and Islamic culture to different regions throughout the world. Their performances aim to promote cultural exchange and strengthen ties with many countries.
