UAE Crown Prince Strengthens Ties With Japan During Expo 2025

H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, met with members of the Japanese Parliament, representatives of the UAE–Japan Society, and officials from several Japanese companies during the UAE Day celebrations at Expo 2025 Osaka.

Expressing Gratitude and Friendship

During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Khaled conveyed his sincere appreciation for their participation in the UAE Day events. He highlighted that their presence reflects the deep friendship and strong partnership between the UAE and Japan, demonstrating the countries’ close ties across political, economic, and cultural sectors.

Commitment to Strengthening Cooperation

The Crown Prince reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to further enhance cooperation with Japan across areas of mutual interest. He emphasized that ongoing collaboration would serve the shared goals of both nations and meet the aspirations of their peoples for progress and prosperity.

Japanese Leaders Appreciate UAE’s Participation

The Japanese parliamentarians, representatives of the UAE–Japan Society, and Japanese business leaders praised the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. They were impressed by the pavilion’s advanced innovations and dedicated sections showcasing the UAE’s rich cultural heritage. Many expressed interest in expanding collaboration with the UAE across various sectors, including trade, technology, and cultural exchanges.

Commemorative Photos and Symbolic Gesture

The meeting concluded with H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed joining the Japanese delegation, event organizers, and the UAE Pavilion team for commemorative photographs. This gesture symbolized the UAE’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and fostering partnerships that benefit both nations.
