This triumph highlights the extensive preparation and robust support system behind each athlete.
Team officials remarked that this achievement underscores the exceptional quality of training programs and the synergy between athletes and their coaches. The success resulted from months of rigorous training and strategic approaches, which ultimately propelled the UAE to these remarkable victories.

He stated that Emirati jiu-jitsu is gaining global recognition, attributing this success to the unwavering support from the country’s leadership. He emphasized that the accomplishments noticed across various platforms, including the Asian Youth Games and the World Championship in Thailand, indicate the operational prowess of the UAE as a cohesive unit.
He acknowledged the vital role played by families, clubs, and partners of the federation in uplifting the athletes. Their unwavering discipline and dedication enable the athletes to proudly represent the UAE. Furthermore, he expressed gratitude towards the technical, medical, and administrative staff, whose collaborative efforts empower athletes to excel.
Head Coach Helder Medeiros shared his delight regarding the team’s performance, stating the results reflect substantial progress made by the athletes in recent months. Their determination and competitive mindset allowed them to compete fiercely against seasoned rivals. He noted that the UAE team has proven its mettle on both national and international stages, especially visible after their recent achievements at the JJIF World Championships in Thailand.
Gold medallist Khaled Al Shehhi emphasized the value of teamwork in achieving success, noting that his medal is a product of collective effort rather than individual achievement.
