UAE Snooker Team Shines at World Championships in Bahrain

The UAE snooker team is doing very well at the World Snooker Championship now taking place in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The championship started recently and will continue until July 24.

This tournament is for men playing the 6-ball category, and 60 players are competing. These players are divided into 15 different groups to play matches against each other.

The UAE team has four players competing in this important tournament. Their names are Mohammed Al Joker, Mohammed Shehab, Issa Al Hashemi, and Abdulrahman Al Shamsi.

Strong Start by Mohammed Shehab

One of the UAE players, Mohammed Shehab, had a great start. He won his first two matches in Group Seven.

In his first match, Mohammed Shehab played against Hassanein Al Sultani from the United States. Mohammed won with a score of 4-1, which means he won four games while his opponent won one.

In his second match, Mohammed faced Khalil Bou Saif from Bahrain. This match was very close, but Mohammed won 4-3.

His two wins gave a strong boost to the UAE team’s chances in the competition.

Mohammed Al Joker’s Success in Group Twelve

Another UAE player, Mohammed Al Joker, also showed great skill. He played in Group Twelve and won both of his first matches.

His first win was against Ayman Al Amri from Saudi Arabia with a score of 4-1. Then, he played a close game against Ahmed Abel from Kuwait, winning 4-3.

Mohammed Al Joker’s wins helped the UAE team keep a strong position in the championship.

Mixed Results for Issa Al Hashemi in Group B

Issa Al Hashemi, another member of the UAE team, played in Group B. He won one match but lost another.

Issa beat Malkit Singh from India with a close score of 4-3. However, he lost a tight match against Ali Al Obaidli from Bahrain by 3-4.

Although Issa lost one match, his strong performance shows that he is a tough competitor.

Abdulrahman Al Shamsi’s Performance in Group 9

The fourth UAE player, Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, played in Group 9. He had one win and one loss.

Abdulrahman lost to Barjesh Damani from India with a score of 1-4. But he bounced back by beating Habib Sabah from Bahrain with a close 4-3 win.

His performance adds more strength to the UAE team’s efforts in the tournament.

Summary of UAE Team’s Performance

So far, the UAE team is showing good skill and determination. With some players winning both their matches and others having close games, the team is well placed to do well in the competition.

The World Snooker Championship is very competitive, and every win counts. The UAE players have made a strong start, and fans hope they will continue to play well.

UAE in the World 9-ball Championship in Saudi Arabia

While the snooker tournament is going on in Bahrain, the UAE is also taking part in another big billiards event. This is the World 9-ball Championship happening in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

This tournament started today and will continue until July 26. It is a very important event in the world of billiards, with 128 top players from 40 countries competing.

The UAE is represented by one player in this tournament: Mahmoud Sharif.

Mahmoud Sharif Prepares for Tough Matches
