His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received His Excellency Ahmad Al-Sharaa, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, who arrived in Abu Dhabi on a working visit. The meeting took place today at Qasr Al Shati, one of the UAE president’s official residences.
Warm Reception at Al Bateen Airport
Earlier in the day, the Syrian president landed in Abu Dhabi, where he was warmly received at Al Bateen Airport. His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed President Al-Sharaa along with several senior UAE officials. This warm reception reflected the importance of the visit and the growing ties between both nations.
Focus on Brotherly Relations Between the UAE and Syria
During the meeting, President Sheikh Mohamed and President Al-Sharaa discussed the strong and historic ties that unite their two countries.
