Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, visited Washington, DC, and met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
During the meeting, the two leaders talked about ways to grow cooperation between the UAE and the US. They focused on several key areas like the economy, trade, science, advanced technology, and artificial intelligence.
They also discussed the recent visit of US President Donald Trump to the UAE in May. Both sides agreed that the visit was a big step forward and showed how strong the relationship is between the two countries. They said they’re committed to working together even more in the future.
Sheikh Abdullah praised the close and long-lasting partnership between the UAE and the US. He said the US is an important and trusted ally, and the UAE is ready to keep building this relationship so that both nations can enjoy more growth and development.
In addition, the two leaders spoke about current events and issues in the region. Sheikh Abdullah stressed that the UAE wants to work closely with the US and other countries to support peace, stability, and the values of coexistence and human brotherhood around the world.
