The UAE has officially launched its winter tourism season, attracting visitors with milder weather and diverse experiences across all emirates. From mid-December to April, tourists can enjoy outdoor activities, heritage festivals, winter camps, and entertainment shows. The Liwa International Festival in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra Region is one of the key events, running from 12th December to 3rd January, featuring desert sports, artistic performances, music, and shopping zones that highlight Emirati heritage.

Abu Dhabi also offers family-friendly programmes at Umm Al Emarat Park, continuing until April 2026. Yas Island hosts snow-themed experiences, festive celebrations, and the ten-day Yas Winter Festival from 12th to 21st December. Dubai attracts visitors with Global Village, Dubai Shopping Festival, drone shows, Winter City at Expo City Dubai, and Winter District activities running through April. Hatta holds the Hatta Winter Festival from 5th to 28th December, combining mountain adventures, eco-tours, heritage markets, and cultural workshops.

Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah also offer winter events, including light shows, cultural markets, winter camps, and beach and mountain activities, catering to families and nature lovers. Al Ain stands out with heritage programmes, oasis visits, museum events, safaris, and mountain adventures on Jebel Hafeet. Winter camps in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah focus on youth development in arts, sports, technology, and environmental challenges, making the season entertaining and educational.

The UAE’s winter season continues to strengthen its position as a top global tourist destination, combining culture, adventure, and family-friendly activities for residents and international visitors alike.
