The Government of Australia has awarded Staff Major General (Ret.) Mubarak Ali Al Neyadi with the Australian Military Medal, making him the first Emirati to receive this prestigious honor.
This award recognizes his important role in strengthening military ties and his efforts in peacekeeping between the UAE and Australia. It also shows how strong and friendly the relationship is between the two countries.
Colonel Dean Clark, the Australian Defence Attaché to the UAE, praised Al Neyadi’s hard work in building better military relations during the award ceremony.
Ridwan Jadwat, the Australian Ambassador to the UAE, said that this medal reflects Al Neyadi’s key role in building trust and military cooperation between the two nations and in bringing their views closer together.
The medal was given to Al Neyadi during an official ceremony at the Australian Ambassador’s residence in Abu Dhabi, attended by military and diplomatic officials from both countries.
This honor is seen as an important step in growing the strategic partnership between the UAE and Australia, especially in areas like defense cooperation, joint training, and sharing of military knowledge.
