Guests on the talk show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, actors Kriti Sanon and Vicky Kaushal shared some entertaining anecdotes about Vicky's wife, Katrina Kaif.
Vicky reminisced about a pre-marriage moment when he was in the groove of a particular Punjabi song. “I’m quite fond of Punjabi music. On one of our trips, I couldn’t get enough of this song. She picked up on it too and playfully recorded herself singing it, thinking it was romantic.”
However, Vicky soon had to caution her about the song’s darker lyrics, which depicted violence. “I told her, ‘Don’t sing this publicly; it’s not appropriate for that,’” he remarked.
Kriti joined in with a humorous remark regarding Katrina’s shifting musical preferences. “We used to hit the gym together, and after she started dating you, her playlist transformed completely. I was astonished when I saw that her gym mix now featured Punjabi tracks. I exclaimed, ‘This is your musical taste?!’ She simply replied, ‘Yeah, I’m into it now. I can catch you up!’.
After dating for several years, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif got married on December 9, 2021, at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. The couple welcomed their first son on November 7, 2025.
Vicky will soon appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, expected in 2026. Katrina’s latest film is Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas (2024), and Kriti will star with Dhanush in Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein, releasing on November 28, 2025, produced by T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions.
