The World Surf League (WSL) Longboard Tour made its much-awaited return to Surf Abu Dhabi on Friday, spanning three days of expert surfing action. Set against the backdrop of Hudayriyat Island, the event welcomed 45 of the foremost longboard surfers globally, celebrated for their intricate techniques and stylish performances. This competition serves as a showcase for athletes to highlight their finesse in longboarding, blending speed, balance, and artistry.

Coinciding with the first anniversary of Surf Abu Dhabi—an innovative wave pool that has become a focal point for surfing in the region—the event underscores the venue's role in providing prime surfing conditions throughout the year. This milestone event emphasizes Surf Abu Dhabi's commitment to advancing the sport of surfing and contributing to local water sports culture.

During the three-day competition, surfers capitalized on the state-of-the-art wave pool technology, crafted to offer exceptional surfing conditions.
