Xbox Cloud Gaming Now Available in India at ₹499

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Microsoft has launched Xbox Cloud Gaming in India, allowing players to stream Xbox games without the need for a console. With a compatible device and reliable internet, gamers can dive into a vast library of titles directly from the cloud.

Affordable Options for Gaming Enthusiasts

This service is available through Xbox Game Pass subscriptions. The new Essential subscription starts at ₹499 per month, providing access to over 50 games along with online multiplayer. The Premium and Ultimate tiers are available at ₹699 and ₹1,389, respectively, offering additional benefits including day-one game releases. For PC gamers, the PC Game Pass is priced at ₹939 per month.

Play on Various Devices

Players can enjoy gaming on PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets, and compatible smart TVs such as those by Samsung, LG, and Amazon Fire TV. The setup is straightforward: open a compatible browser or the Xbox app, sign in, connect a compatible controller, and begin playing. Both Xbox Wireless and PlayStation DualSense controllers are supported, with some games permitting touch or keyboard-and-mouse controls.

Stream on Smart TVs Easily

For gaming on smart TVs, users can download the Xbox app, log in via their Game Pass subscription, connect a Bluetooth controller, and instantly access cloud games. This allows for high-quality gaming experiences on a living room TV without the purchase of an Xbox console.

A New Era for Gaming in India

This launch signifies Microsoft's commitment to expand Xbox Cloud Gaming beyond its initial global beta, bringing advanced gaming experiences to a wider audience in India. The platform also accommodates Windows-based handheld gaming devices like the ROG Xbox Ally, streamlining portable gaming like never before.
