Abhishek Bachchan has responded to the ongoing rumours about his and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s marriage, saying their 14-year-old daughter Aaradhya Bachchan has no idea such talk even exists. In a recent interview, Abhishek explained that Aaradhya does not own a phone, which keeps her away from unnecessary gossip. He shared that this was a decision he and Aishwarya made long ago, and if any of Aaradhya’s friends want to reach her, they have to call on Aishwarya’s phone. Abhishek said their daughter is mature, sensible, and has been raised well by her mother, which helps her stay focused on what truly matters.
Abhishek added that even though Aaradhya can use the internet for schoolwork, she spends her time studying rather than searching for her parents online. According to him, she enjoys school and prefers doing her homework instead of going through social media or celebrity gossip. He also said that Aishwarya has taught her not to believe everything she reads, just like his own parents taught him while growing up. Abhishek stated that there is complete honesty within their family, so Aaradhya never feels the need to question anything.
Commenting on the rumours about trouble in his marriage, Abhishek called them “rubbish, vicious, and incorrect,” making it clear that many stories written about them over the years have been completely fabricated. Recently, even Aishwarya had to clarify that Aaradhya is not on social media after several fake accounts claiming to be her daughter appeared online during the Red Sea Film Festival.
Aishwarya and Abhishek’s relationship began during the filming of Umrao Jaan and Guru. They married in 2007 in a private ceremony and welcomed Aaradhya in 2011. Despite fresh speculation in 2024—especially after they arrived separately at an Ambani wedding event—the couple continues to handle public attention with calmness and dignity.
On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan series, while Abhishek appeared in Be Happy, Housefull 5, and Kaalidhar Laapata. He will soon be seen in his upcoming project King.
Through their actions and parenting choices, the couple ensures Aaradhya stays protected from online negativity, focusing on her studies and growing up with strong values. With clear communication and family support, she remains untouched by the constant buzz around her parents and the Bollywood industry. The family continues to stay united despite public speculation, showing strength and privacy in their own way.
