The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has signed an important cooperation agreement with the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AGCC). This agreement was signed during the official visit of the ADCCI economic delegation to Berlin, Germany. The main goal of the deal is to strengthen cooperation between the business communities of the UAE and Germany and create more opportunities for trade and investment.
Framework of Cooperation Defined
The agreement sets clear rules for working together, including exchanging information on economic, trade, and investment matters. Both sides will provide support to business delegations and missions. They will also organize joint events such as exhibitions, conferences, and economic forums. These efforts aim to increase collaboration between UAE and German companies and open up new business opportunities.
Focus on Startups and SMEs
A major part of the agreement is supporting startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The agreement also encourages sharing technical knowledge and expertise to foster innovation and expand business partnerships between the two countries.
Strategic Sectors of Cooperation
The deal focuses on important sectors for both the UAE and Germany. These include renewable energy, digital transformation, smart industry, digital infrastructure, and health technology.
