ADNOC is preparing to host 100 leading figures from the fields of energy, technology, investment, and government at the upcoming ENACT Majlis in Abu Dhabi. The high-level meeting will take place on Sunday and aims to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can work together with the energy and investment sectors to promote sustainable global growth.
This year’s ENACT Majlis continues ADNOC’s efforts to encourage innovative partnerships between industries that are driving the next phase of the world’s technological and energy transformation.
The event will be hosted by Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC, Chairman of Masdar, and Executive Chairman of XRG. Organized in collaboration with Masdar and XRG, the Majlis will highlight how AI can help optimize energy systems and investment strategies to support both efficiency and sustainability.
Dr. Al Jaber emphasized that while AI is transforming industries and accelerating innovation, it is also increasing energy demand. Therefore, finding ways to power AI systems sustainably is becoming a top global priority.
The ENACT Majlis will welcome senior officials, ministers, and CEOs from around the world. Among the attendees are Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for AI and Digital Economy; Dr. Abdulla Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy; and top executives from major international companies such as BP, TotalEnergies, ExxonMobil, Microsoft, and Brookfield Asset Management.
Technology pioneers such as Arthur Mensch of Mistral AI and Andrew Feldman of Cerebras Systems will also join discussions, underlining the growing link between AI developers and energy producers.
The ENACT Majlis reflects the Emirati tradition of open dialogue and forward-thinking cooperation. It reinforces Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for conversations on energy, technology, and investment. By bringing together leaders from various sectors, ADNOC hopes to inspire practical solutions to global challenges and strengthen the UAE’s contribution to sustainable development.
This meeting will also take place just before ADIPEC 2025, one of the world’s largest and most influential energy events, which runs from November 3 to 6 in Abu Dhabi.
In his statement, Dr. Al Jaber said, “Artificial intelligence is accelerating progress across every sector, but it’s also driving a surge in energy demand. The ENACT Majlis will bring together leaders from energy, technology, policy, and finance to align efforts and ensure AI has the power it needs to thrive.”
He also explained that AI can help improve energy efficiency and expand access to clean resources, but this will require investments in scalable energy systems, advanced grids, and high-efficiency infrastructure to support AI operations.
The upcoming session marks the third edition of the ENACT Majlis series. The first event took place in November 2024 in Abu Dhabi and focused on linking energy, technology, and finance to meet AI-driven energy demand. The second Majlis, held in Washington, D.C. in June 2025, addressed the rapid expansion of data centers in the United States, which is expected to host more than one-third of all new global data centers by 2030.
These earlier sessions helped lay the foundation for ongoing cooperation between governments, corporations, and technology firms on how to meet the rising power needs of an AI-driven world.
By convening experts across multiple industries, ADNOC aims to shape a global roadmap for using AI to support sustainable energy and economic growth. The ENACT Majlis encourages collaboration between technology innovators and energy producers to ensure that the AI revolution also aligns with environmental and economic priorities.
As the world prepares for the next wave of digital transformation, Abu Dhabi continues to position itself as a leader in connecting innovation, investment, and sustainability through forward-thinking dialogue and partnerships.
