Air Arabia Starts Daily Non-Stop Flights Between Sharjah & Munich

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Air Arabia has officially launched daily non-stop flights between Sharjah and Munich, marking its first direct service to Germany from the UAE. The flights are operated with the airline’s new Airbus A320neo, offering passengers a more comfortable and convenient journey. The inaugural flight was welcomed with a special ceremony at Munich Airport, attended by senior officials from both Air Arabia and the airport.

Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, said the new route strengthens the airline’s presence in Europe and provides travelers with more options. He added that connecting Sharjah directly to Munich is a strategic step to expand Air Arabia’s European network and enhance passenger convenience. Oliver Dersch, Senior Vice President Aviation at Munich Airport, welcomed the launch, stating that the route improves connectivity for passengers traveling between the GCC countries and Germany.

The Sharjah-Munich service is part of Air Arabia’s growing European network, which already includes key destinations like Vienna, Athens, Milan Bergamo, Krakow, and Warsaw Chopin. The airline also plans to add Warsaw Modlin and Prague in the near future.

Passengers flying on this route can enjoy modern amenities and a smoother travel experience on the A320neo, which is designed to improve comfort and reduce environmental impact.

The new flights are expected to serve both business and leisure travelers, making it easier for residents of the UAE and Europe to connect without long layovers. By launching this direct link, Air Arabia continues to expand its international network and strengthen its position as a leading low-cost carrier in the region.
