Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, President of the Republic of Chad, welcomed Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, along with his delegation, at the Presidential Palace in N’Djamena. The meeting highlighted the commitment of both sides to strengthen cooperation in promoting tolerance, peace, and sustainable development.
Discussion on Cooperation for Peace
During the meeting, the Chadian President and Al Jarwan explored ways to enhance collaboration between Chad and the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace. The discussions focused on supporting regional and international efforts to achieve security, stability, and sustainable growth, as well as promoting values that contribute to civil peace across Africa.
Chad Supports Global Tolerance Initiatives
President Déby praised the pioneering role of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace at both international and parliamentary levels. He affirmed Chad’s full support for the Council’s initiatives, recognizing the importance of promoting dialogue and tolerance as pillars for achieving civil peace and development in Africa and globally.

The Chadian President also emphasized the strong relationship between Chad and the United Arab Emirates. He commended the UAE’s positive contributions to peace, development, and humanitarian efforts in Africa and around the world, acknowledging the UAE’s influence in supporting initiatives that foster regional stability.

Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan expressed appreciation for President Déby’s efforts to advance prosperity and development in Chad.
