Dubai’s Emirates Expands London Heathrow Services This Winter

Dubai’s Emirates Expands London Heathrow Services This Winter

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

Dubai-based Emirates is set to increase its London Heathrow services this winter by adding six weekly flights starting 26 October 2025. This expansion comes in response to record passenger demand, allowing travellers more flexibility and convenience during the busy year-end travel season.

Aircraft and Seating Options

Currently, Emirates operates six daily flights to and from Heathrow using its Airbus A380. For the new flights, the airline will deploy the Boeing 777-300ER, offering over 350 seats across First, Business, and Economy classes. This ensures ample capacity for both business and leisure travellers seeking comfort and premium services.

Flight Timings and Connectivity

The additional flights are scheduled to operate daily except Fridays, providing convenient departure options. Overnight departures from London to Dubai enable smooth onward connections to destinations such as Durban, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Jakarta. Similarly, passengers arriving in London from Dubai can easily connect to cities across West Asia, the Middle East, and mainland China.

Detailed Flight Schedule

The schedule includes EK41 departing Dubai at 13:40hrs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, arriving in London at 17:40hrs. Return flight EK42 leaves London at 22:35hrs on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday, landing in Dubai at 09:35hrs the following day. Tuesday and Saturday departures from London are at 21:20hrs, arriving in Dubai at 08:20hrs. On Thursdays, EK41 leaves Dubai at 12:55hrs, reaching Heathrow at 16:55hrs, with the return EK42 departing at 21:20hrs.

UK-Wide Network Expansion

By early 2026, Emirates’ expanded London operations—including Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted—will total 146 weekly flights across the UK. Regional airports such as Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh are included in this expansion. Additionally, Emirates plans a fourth daily flight to London Gatwick from February 2026, operated by the Airbus A350, further increasing connectivity.

Premium Passenger Experience

Emirates passengers can enjoy award-winning inflight services, including regionally inspired multi-course meals, premium beverages, and access to more than 6,500 entertainment channels on the airline’s ice inflight entertainment system. These services aim to enhance passenger comfort and overall travel experience.

This expansion reflects Emirates’ commitment to strengthening connectivity between Dubai and the UK, supporting both tourism and business travel. It also highlights the airline’s strategy to meet growing passenger demand, enhance comfort, and provide flexible scheduling during peak travel periods.

With these additional flights, Emirates continues to position itself as a key player in the global aviation market. The airline’s investments in aircraft, technology, and premium services ensure a seamless travel experience, while its UK-wide expansion reinforces the UAE’s connectivity with Europe.

Emirates’ winter expansion at London Heathrow demonstrates the airline’s dedication to providing flexible travel options, premium services, and improved connectivity for passengers. This growth not only meets rising demand but also strengthens Emirates’ reputation as a global leader in aviation.
