Frankfurt School Expands Global Reach with New Dubai Centre

Frankfurt School Expands Global Reach with New Dubai Centre

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is set to open a new International Executive Education Centre in Dubai Knowledge Park in October 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the globally recognized German business university as it extends its reach to one of the most vibrant and innovative cities in the world. The new centre aims to serve as a regional hub for leadership, innovation, and lifelong learning, strengthening collaboration between academia and the corporate world in the Middle East.

The new Executive Education Centre is part of the Frankfurt School’s ongoing efforts to promote international education and global connectivity. By establishing a presence in Dubai, the university hopes to bring its world-class executive training and leadership development programmes closer to professionals and organizations in the region.
The centre will focus on knowledge exchange and professional growth, offering courses designed to help leaders navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing global economy.

Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, Senior Vice President of Dubai International Academic City, Dubai Knowledge Park, and Dubai Science Park at TECOM Group PJSC, welcomed the initiative. He emphasized that embracing lifelong learning is vital for ensuring future readiness in the modern workforce.
Janahi highlighted that Frankfurt School’s new centre will play a crucial role in nurturing exceptional talent across industries and contribute to Dubai’s vision of innovation and economic excellence.
He added that Dubai Knowledge Park would continue to partner with distinguished global education institutions to foster creativity, leadership, and innovation, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the Education 33 Strategy (E33).

Professor Nils Stieglitz, President and CEO of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, explained that the new Dubai centre is designed to become a hub for learning, collaboration, and leadership development.
“As an international business university, we look beyond Germany and Europe to empower the brightest minds and encourage entrepreneurship,” said Professor Stieglitz. He pointed out that Dubai’s fast-growing economy and global connectivity make it an ideal location to cultivate future-ready leaders and foster responsible management practices.

The Dubai Executive Education Centre will offer customized training programmes for executives, entrepreneurs, and public sector professionals. These programmes will focus on leadership development, innovation management, digital transformation, and sustainable business practices.
By collaborating with companies, government institutions, and international organizations, the Frankfurt School aims to equip leaders with the skills and knowledge required to tackle modern challenges and contribute meaningfully to their organizations and communities.

The establishment of Frankfurt School’s new centre reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for education, research, and innovation. It aligns perfectly with the emirate’s vision to attract top international universities and create a vibrant academic ecosystem.
Through this initiative, Dubai Knowledge Park continues to expand its role in supporting global educational excellence and preparing professionals for the future of work. The centre will not only benefit local learners but also attract international participants seeking advanced executive education in a strategic global city.

As Frankfurt School prepares to open its doors in 2025, anticipation is building for the opportunities this centre will bring. It represents more than just an academic expansion — it is a partnership between Europe and the Middle East that promotes shared goals of innovation, education, and responsible leadership.
By combining German academic excellence with Dubai’s global vision, the new Executive Education Centre promises to shape a new generation of business leaders capable of driving sustainable growth and success across borders.
