Philippine Embassy in UAE to Close for Holidays on June 12 and 15

Philippine Embassy in UAE to Close for Holidays on June 12 and 15

Post by : Raina Al-Fahim

The Philippine Embassy in the UAE has disclosed that it will close its doors on June 12 and June 15. These closures coincide with the observance of Philippine Independence Day and the Islamic New Year. During these dates, all standard consular and administrative services will be paused.

This means individuals needing services such as passport processing, civil registry tasks, notarial services, and other embassy-related requests are urged to finalize their needs before these holidays. The embassy encourages Filipinos in the UAE to make early plans to avoid any last-minute disruptions.

While the embassy will not be conducting regular operations, it will still provide emergency assistance. Dedicated hotlines will remain open for urgent matters. Overseas Filipino workers can reach the Assistance-to-Nationals unit via phone, SMS, or WhatsApp for prompt support if necessary.

Additionally, other support avenues will stay open through specialized contact numbers for labor issues, contract validation, and consular emergencies. These services are designed to ensure that those facing urgent challenges can still receive help during the holiday period.

Authorities have urged the public to take note of the closure dates and prepare accordingly. Regular operations of the embassy are set to resume following the holidays.
