Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar visited the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion at the third annual Made in Saudi Expo 2025, held from December 15 to 17 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham. The visit highlighted efforts to support local industries and strengthen national capabilities in military, technological, and security systems.
During the tour, the two ministers examined projects aimed at localizing spending on defense and technological systems while promoting Saudi-made products and solutions. They viewed the Saudi armored vehicle “Al-Dahna”, the ministry’s electronic platform “Absher”, and the “ASEF II” drone, which contributes to environmental security and sustainability.
The ministers also explored electronic services designed for citizens, residents, and visitors, showcasing how digital solutions are improving access to government services. They reviewed key development projects within the ministry and its various security sectors, emphasizing the country’s focus on innovation, safety, and efficiency.
The visit demonstrated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting local industries and developing advanced security and technological solutions. The exchange of ideas with Syrian officials reflected the importance of regional collaboration and knowledge sharing in defense, environmental protection, and digital government services.
Through initiatives like these, the Ministry of Interior continues to lead in promoting national products, advancing security technologies, and delivering modern services for the public while encouraging industrial growth across Saudi Arabia.
