Expo-Sciences International 2025 Opens in Abu Dhabi

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, inaugurated the Expo-Sciences International (ESI) 2025 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. The opening highlighted the UAE’s commitment to promoting science, innovation, and youth empowerment across the globe.

Attendance of Dignitaries and Officials

The inauguration was attended by Dr. Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State; Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat; Khalfan Abdulla Khalfan Al Mansoori, Acting Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Hazardous Materials Management Centre; and Mahmoud Salem Alalawi, Director-General of the Corporate Efficiency Sector at Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority. The event also welcomed numerous international delegations, senior officials, and academic representatives from around the world.

Global Participation and STEAM Focus

Organised by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), ESI 2025 brings together more than 2,000 participants from over 45 countries. Young talents presented innovative projects in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) across Halls 7–10 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. The exhibition serves as a platform for global collaboration and knowledge exchange in cutting-edge scientific fields.

Vision of UAE Leadership

Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director-General of ACTVET, expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his patronage, emphasizing the UAE leadership’s vision to support technical and vocational education. He highlighted that the event empowers youth to harness science and innovation for the benefit of humanity, reflecting a strategic focus on preparing the next generation for a knowledge-based future.

These partnerships strengthen the global impact and professional reach of the exhibition.

ESI 2025 features scientific seminars, interactive workshops, and cultural activities designed to broaden participants’ horizons. The activities encourage collaboration among students, educators, and researchers, fostering a global community dedicated to innovation and problem-solving in STEAM fields.

The Expo-Sciences International 2025 runs until 1st October, providing participants and visitors an inspiring scientific experience. The event aims to prepare young scientists and innovators to address future global challenges while promoting collaboration, creativity, and research excellence across international communities.

ESI 2025 demonstrates Abu Dhabi’s role as a global hub for science and innovation. By uniting youth from diverse countries under one roof, the event encourages knowledge sharing, creativity, and practical solutions to scientific challenges, contributing to a sustainable and technologically advanced future worldwide.
