Alia Bhatt recently hosted her inaugural Christmas gathering at her brand-new six-storey residence, Krishna Raj Bungalow, ushering in a delightful new chapter in her life after celebrating her last Diwali at Vastu. The intimate celebration featured close family members and friends, including her mother Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen Bhatt, and friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. The event radiated warmth, joy, and festive cheer, embodying the spirit of the season.
A particularly special moment occurred when Alia posed with her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, showcasing the enduring bond within the Kapoor-Bhatt family. Shaheen also shared some fun snapshots from the evening, lightheartedly captioning them, “Tis the season, etc, etc.” In terms of fashion, Alia looked effortlessly stylish in a classic little black dress, while Shaheen made an impression in a bright hot pink outfit. Soni Razdan contributed to the festive ambiance with a sleek black ensemble, culminating in an elegant family portrait. It was noted that Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter, Raha, were not present in any of the photos shared from this gathering.
Krishna Raj Bungalow is more than just a luxurious residence; it carries a rich family legacy. The property was once the home of Bollywood icon Raj Kapoor and his wife, Krishna Raj Kapoor, before it came into the hands of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor in the 1980s. Now, the mantle has passed to Ranbir and Alia, who are diligently overseeing the building and interior design of their new home, frequently visiting to ensure that their vision comes to life. Speculations are rife that they might be moving in soon, potentially selecting an auspicious date to officially inhabit their beloved residence and continue the Kapoor family tradition.
On the professional front, Alia was last seen in Jigra and is gearing up for her upcoming venture, Yash Raj Films’ Alpha. Ranbir is focused on Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1, slated for release during Diwali 2026. Fans are also anticipating their on-screen reunion in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited film Love & War. Both in their personal and professional lives, Alia and Ranbir continue to shine as one of Bollywood’s most cherished couples, seamlessly balancing family and their artistic pursuits with elegance.
