Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar is setting new records at the Indian box office, now on the brink of joining the elite Rs 600 crore club. After a stellar 17-day performance, it garnered around Rs 16 crore on its 18th day (December 22), bringing its total domestic earnings to about Rs 571.75 crore, as reported by trade tracker Sacnilk.
Under the direction of Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar has swiftly secured its place among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. It recently surpassed Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal (Rs 553 crore) to occupy the 10th position among the top domestic net earners. The film has also outperformed major hits from 2024, such as Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 (Rs 525 crore) and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan (Rs 543 crore). Remarkably, Dhurandhar achieved this success without the benefit of dubbed versions, which had significantly boosted collections for films like Pathaan and Animal.
The film debuted with a powerful opening, earning Rs 103 crore over its first weekend, with Rs 28 crore on Friday, Rs 32 crore on Saturday, and a booming Rs 43 crore on Sunday. The weekdays maintained this momentum with earnings of Rs 23.25 crore on Monday and Rs 27 crore on Tuesday, surpassing Rs 150 crore in just five days. By the end of its first week, the total reached Rs 207.25 crore, boosted by collections of Rs 27 crore on both Wednesday and Thursday.
The second weekend saw even greater success, with Rs 53 crore on Saturday and Rs 58 crore on Sunday. The weekdays continued to bring in solid numbers—Rs 30.5 crore on Monday, Rs 30 crore on Tuesday, Rs 25.5 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 23 crore on Thursday. By December 18, the film’s cumulative total had reached Rs 555.75 crore.
The third weekend contributed an additional Rs 22.5 crore on Friday, Rs 34.25 crore on Saturday, and Rs 38.5 crore on Sunday. Although the earnings dipped slightly on the third Monday to Rs 16 crore, the film remains a massive success with domestic earnings totaling Rs 571.75 crore.
Starring Ranveer Singh alongside a robust cast including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi, Dhurandhar impresses with its action, performances, and gripping narrative.
Riding high on this achievement, the producers have announced a sequel to hit theaters on March 19, 2026. With such a phenomenal box office trajectory, Dhurandhar is on track to officially enter the Rs 600 crore club, reinforcing Ranveer Singh’s position as a leading Bollywood star.
