Dhurandhar Day 27 Earnings: Ranveer Singh’s Thriller Dominates the Box Office

Post by : Meena Hassan

Ranveer Singh kicks off 2026 with a bang as his latest film, Dhurandhar, continues to smash box office records, solidifying its position as one of the year's major blockbusters. This exhilarating spy thriller has received widespread acclaim, captivating audiences both in India and abroad.

Since its release on December 5, Dhurandhar has garnered over ₹1117 crore globally by its 27th day. The film raked in ₹12.40 crore (nett) on that day, pushing its domestic box office total to ₹766.90 crore. These consistent earnings highlight the film’s strong performance in the Indian market, even weeks post-launch.

In terms of global box office performance, the film's total has reached ₹1117.90 crore, which includes an impressive ₹250 crore from international markets. The recently concluded New Year’s Eve holiday provided a significant boost, contributing to a net domestic collection of ₹712.25 crore (₹854.5 crore gross) after 26 days. It currently stands as the highest-grossing Bollywood film in India for 2026, just behind the Hindi version of Pushpa 2, which has amassed ₹812 crore net.

On the global scene, Dhurandhar ranks as the fourth-highest grossing Indian film in the US and Canada, with earnings of $17 million. This figure surpasses those of other major films like Jawan and RRR in these regions, underscoring the film’s extensive appeal.

In light of its impressive box office success, there are plans for a revised edition of Dhurandhar. This update will reportedly feature muted language and modified dialogues to adhere to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting's guidelines. Fans are eagerly anticipating both this new version and the forthcoming sequel.
