Dhurandhar Surges Past ₹1100 Crore Globally

Post by : Meena Hassan

Ranveer Singh’s spectacular film Dhurandhar remains a force at the box office, demonstrating impressive resilience in its fourth week following release. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie generated ₹24.30 crore on its fourth Sunday, cementing its appeal with audiences and critics. This remarkable earning has propelled its total India nett box office figures to a staggering ₹730.70 crore, highlighting its ongoing popularity among filmgoers.

The blockbuster’s success extends well beyond India, having swiftly crossed the ₹1100 crore worldwide threshold just 24 days post-release. This remarkable feat positions Dhurandhar among the top earners in modern Indian cinema, notably exceeding Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which accumulated around ₹1,055 crore over its entire theatrical run.

Currently, Dhurandhar is on track to outshine the Hindi version financials of Pushpa 2, which has amassed ₹812.14 crore. Industry insiders anticipate that the film is strategically placed to clinch this top spot in the coming days, potentially rewriting box office benchmarks.

Securing its status as the most successful film of 2025, Dhurandhar leaves behind noteworthy competitors such as Kantara: Chapter 1 and Chhaava, which, despite their success, couldn't match the remarkable impact of Singh’s title. Even with new releases entering the fray, Dhurandhar consistently leads ticket sales across both multiplexes and independent cinemas, a clear indication of its strong word-of-mouth and audience enthusiasm.

In contrast, Kartik Aaryan’s festive release, Tu Mera Main Teri Main Tera Tu Meri, has seen modest earnings, with a Sunday collection around ₹5.25 crore, totaling ₹23.75 crore over four days. Although the film garners interest, it cannot rival the phenomenal success and overwhelming reception that has characterized Dhurandhar.

With unwavering audience support and favorable reviews, Dhurandhar appears poised to continue its outstanding journey at the box office, further solidifying its record-breaking achievements. The film’s blend of compelling storytelling, stellar performances, and superb direction has marked it as a standout hit in 2025, captivating audiences both in India and globally.
