Eyewitnesses captured distressing videos of one helicopter spiraling uncontrollably before plummeting to the ground. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that the collision occurred between an F-28A and a 280C Enstrom helicopter, each carrying a pilot. A café owner recalled both pilots as familiar faces, often seen having breakfast together before flying. “They were regulars here,” the café owner said, adding, “We watched them take off, and then suddenly, one helicopter began to spiral down. A Hammonton resident, who witnessed the crash, detailed how the first helicopter flipped upside down and began spinning wildly. Moments later, a loud cracking noise signaled that the second helicopter had also lost control, followed by its rapid descent.
